Application of T1 PROPELLER Flair in Head MR Examination

Abstract:Objective To study the diagnostic value of contrast-enhanced T1WI FLAIR combined with PROPELER technique in
correcting head motion artifact in head MR examination. Methods Fifty patients with suspected intracranial lesions were enrolled in
the study. All patients were examined with T1 FLAIR and T1 PROPELLER FLAIR respectively in head MR scan. Motion artifacts
were blindly evaluated by two experienced radiologists. Results The motion artifact of T1 PROPELLER FLAIR was less than that
of T1 FLAIR (c2=26.62,P<0.001). Conclusion T1WI FLAIR combined with PROPELER technique can reduce the formation of
head motion artifact and improve the image quality.
