Argon Under Gastrointestinal Endoscopy on Treatment of Digestive Tract Polyps

Objective To observe the curative effect and security of high-frequency electroresection combined with argon under
gastrointestinal endoscopy on treatment of digestive tract polyps. Methods Ninety patients with digestive tract polyps in our
hospital from January 2015 to August 2016 were selected and divided into 3 groups by random number table method. Patients in
group A were treated by high-frequency electroresection combined with argon. Patients in group B were treated by electrotomy
with high-frequency electrocoagulation. Patients in group C were treated by micro wave coagulation. Operation time, one-time
cure rate, incidence of complications, follow-up results of the 3 groups were recorded. Results Operation time and incidence of
complications in group A were significantly lower than those in group B and group C (P<0.05). The one-time cure rate in group A
were significantly higher than those in group B and group C (P<0.05). There was no significant difference of recurrence rate in the
3 groups (P>0.05). Conclusion High-frequency electroresection combined with argon under gastrointestinal endoscopy is effective,
safe and less complications on treatment of digestive tract polyps.
