Abstract:Implantable medical electronic devices have been widely used in clinical practice nowadays, but using battery power limits the working life and functions of these equipments. Wireless power transmission is an accessible method which may replace batteries, but the changes of coil status, such as distance changing and axial deviation will lead to unstable energy transmission, and this will have a negative effect on implantable devices. This paper proposed and verified a method of feedback adjustment for wireless power supply, which could guarantee the security and effectiveness of wireless energy transmission. In this study, the power parameter of the energy receiver was measured by a sensor, and the measurement results which could instruct the microcontroller to control output power were transmitted to the energy transmitter as a feedback signal by the near field communication technology. Experiments showed that the system could realize the stable output of energy when the coil spacing was within 1 cm.
