Abstract:Objective To promote the satisfaction of after-sales service and find out the gap between domestic and imported
manufactures through the annual survey of after-sales service satisfaction and the market share of domestic medical equipment in
Shanghai, and to provide reference for improving the market share of domestic medical equipment. Methods Shanghai medical
device management and quality control center had carried out the survey on the mainstream medical device market in Shanghai since
2007, and analyzed the recent 10 year’s data. Results In the past 10 years, the market share and service satisfaction of domestic
medical equipment had been continuously improved. The average satisfaction score had risen from 3.4 to 4.2. In the 2016 market
survey, the domestic brands achieved the top 5 spot results for the first time in the quality of after-sales service, and the market
share of five domestic products reached 10%. Conclusion The market competitiveness of domestic medical equipment continues
to improve. However, the market share of high-end medical equipment has not yet exceeded 15%. We still need to further tap the
deep needs of users, master core technologies, improve product quality, and join hands in technological innovations to enhance the
strength of “Made in China”.
