Abstract:Objective Through analyzing the correlation among the number of second-class large medical equipment and common
indexes including population, land area, population density, gross domestic product and per capita gross domestic product of each
city in Guangxi, this paper aimed to provide references for the health department to rationalize the allocation of second-class large
medical equipment. Methods We used the gray correlation analysis model to get gray relational sequence of relevance between
second-class large medical equipment and these common indexes. Results The degree of gray correlation between second-class large
medical equipment and population, land area, population density, gross domestic product, per capita gross domestic product was
0.8262, 0.6839, 0.6949, 0.9471 and 0.6782, respectively. Conclusion Gross domestic product was the main factor that influenced the
number of second-class large medical equipment of each city. Population, land area, population density, and per capita gross domestic
product also influenced the number of second-class large medical equipment to some extent.
