Design of Anti-Fall Care System Based on Wireless Remote Control Technology

Abstract:Objective In order to lower the fall incidence among medical inpatients, we designed a system which could provide
accurate information on the bed number of falling inpatients. Meanwhile the system could remind accompanying family members in
advance. Methods Through analyzing the reasons of bed falling in the critically ill patients, we designed a wireless remote control
care system that could increase the effect of fall prevention program. This design that developed by the means of pressure sensor,
magnetic switch, wireless remote control technology was supported by a call system. Results The falling prevention care system
could realize three alarm modes, such as 20 decibels reminding alarm, 60 decibels warning alarm, and calling display and bell
rings alarm. Conclusion There are a lot of advantages of the system, including simple structure, compact appearance, concealed
installation and so on. And the system can significantly reduce the rate of bed falling in patients.
