Abstract:Ventilator is an equipment of the highest risk level in clinical application, and it is important
for hospital intensive care and emergency treatment. Therefore, it's necessary to use ventilator properly,
reduce failure rate during using and disinfection. This paper classified ventilator fault cases in the last
two years, summarized and analyzed fault causes, and adopted countermeasures to solve these faults. We
find that fault rate declined obviously through comparison of fault data before and after adopting these
countermeasures. Ventilator fault rate could be reduced by adopting proper maintenance means, and
which could guarantee clinical work.
