Abstract:ObjectiveTo design a vital sign monitoring system for patients in ICU based on smart phone APP so as to perform real-time monitoring of vital signs of patients in ICU and make medical stuff have a real-time command of changes in vital sign information. Methods In terms of the good practical applicability and wide-range adoption of smart phone APP, the required key technologies about signal processing unit, a network element and mobile terminal APP software application were designed.ResultsThe information reading device of the first aid device could read real-time vital sign monitoring data of critical patients, which was transmitted to the server by the signal converter and were displayed on the APP platform of the intelligent mobile phone via the existing 4G network.ConclusionThe mobile medical system based on mobile phone APP had a development prospect for intensive care monitoring.
