Analysis and Discussion of CT Quality Assurance Test Results

Abstract:The three-year performance testing results of CT machines in Guangdong were summarized and analyzed. The testing results of diagnostic couch locating accuracy, gantry tilt, reconstructed slice thickness and uniformity were all qualified in three years. The testing results of laser accuracy, CTDIW, noise and low contrast detectability were only unqualified in one time. And the results of CT value (water), CT value linearity and high contrast resolution were often unqualified, especially the high contrast resolution under the high contrast algorithm. The qualification rates of all parameters of CT in 2013-2015 were 89.97%, 95.00% and 96.00%, respectively. The disqualification rate showed a decrease trend. The testing results showed the work of inspection and supervision of health, medical institutions and testing institutions promoted the quality assurance of medical equipment and provided guarantees for clinical services.
