Abstract：The usage survey of intermediate frequency electrical stimulators in 172 hospitals in
Beijing was conducted. The basic information of the hospitals and the stimulators, the medical device
administration events, the maintenance of the stimulators and the clinical use of the stimulators were
recorded. Altogether 860 records were collected. The usage of the intermediate frequency electrical
stimulator was preliminarily known, the risk during usage and related influencing factors were further
specified, and the risk control suggestions were proposed, the security of the simulators would be
improved in a scientific and comprehensive way.
