Abstract:The research adopted the RFID technology and Bluetooth technology to improve the ward
round system for neonatal patients. The coin-shaped inductive and intelligent IC card was chosen to use
as the system identification card. The portable card reader equipment adopted the RC522 radio frequency
card reader module; data transmission adopted the CC2530 single chip microcomputer and the Bluetooth
module BLK-MD-BC04-B; based on the current development smartphones and tablet computers,
data exchange can be conducted between intelligent terminals and card-reading equipment in hospital
information system by using the RFID and Bluetooth technology. The system can exchange data with the
hospital information system via the network interface. Through simulation experiments, the feasibility of
and stability of the system was confirmed. The system can help with the realization of the digitalization
and intellectualization of the ward round system for neonatal patients, also can improve the efficiency of
the medical staff and hospital service quality.
