Abstract:In 2015, the radiology information system in our hospital was upgraded. Meanwhile,
the virtualization platform was introduced. This paper describes the construction of hardware and
software environment of the virtualization platform, deployment of virtual machine, features of the
virtualization platform and its effect in the practical application, as well as comparing with the before
modification system and summarizing the advantages of the virtualization platform in increasing
resource utilization rate, maintaining the consistency of performance, increasing capacity in disaster
recovery, and others.
