Abstract:Objective To investigate the effectiveness of application of full-length bilateral lower extremities splicing digital radiography in the arthroplasty. Methods Altogether 45 patients were involved in this study, and underwent the full-length bilateral lower extremities splicing digital radiography and arthroplasty. The preoperative and postoperative full-length splicing digital radiographic images of bilateral lower extremities were collected and compared. Results Among 45 cases of patients, the preoperative full-length splicing digital radiographic images exhibited 14 cases of varus deformity and 34 cases of valgus deformity. The postoperative full-length splicing digital radiographic images showed transparent morphological amendment in all the 45 cases who were dealt with arthroplasty, which met the clinical expectations and requirements. Conclusion The full-length bilateral lower extremities splicing digital radiography could display the full length of bilateral lower extremities clearly, and played an important role in preoperative planning and postoperative follow-up for the arthroplasty, especially for the knee joint arthroplasty.
