Abstract:Objective To discuss the application of DSA (Digital Subtraction Angiography) road map image quality control technique in diagnosis and treatment of liver cancers. Methods Altogether 80 cases of liver cancer patients with their ages ranging from 29 to 61 years old [mean age = (44.7 ±12.6) years] who had been treated in the hospital from April 2013 to February 2014 were divided into Control Group and Experimental Group randomly. The FD20 DSA machine was employed for patients in Control Group for acquisition of abdominal sequence exposure images. Through summarization of the causes that reduced the image quality, related adjustments were made and then it was adopted for patients in Experimental Group. At the same time, four clinically-experienced interventional radiology doctors were invited to evaluate the post-adjusted image quality until it was optimal. Results As for the quality of DSA road map images obtained from 40 patients in Control Group, 0 cases were evaluated as excellent quality, accounting for 0%; 10 cases were evaluated as average quality, accounting for 25%; 30 cases as poor quality, accounting for 75%. In contrast, there were 37 cases, 3 cases and 0 case evaluated respectively as the excellent, average and poor quality, accounting for 92.5%, 7.5% and 0% among 40 patients in Experimental Group. Conclusion Adjustment of parameters could make DSA road map image quality effectively improved so as to meet the clinical diagnosis and treatment requirements.
