Abstract：Objective A practical and sharing regional public appointment register platform with the features of high efficiency, centralization and interconnection was established, which was intended to resolve the inaccessibility to medical services. Methods The regional public platform offered the hospital terminal the standard WebService interface. The appointment register module that was deployed in the front-end processor of the hospital terminal. Meanwhile, the data processing program was also deployed to adopt the XML architecture for data transfer. Results This platform made the medical resources shared regionally and the regional appointment register services accessed conveniently by the patients. Conclusion The platform relieved the civilians’ inaccessibility to medical services to some extent and improved the quality of medical services in the hospital.
