Abstract:With the widespread application of X-ray image guided radiotherapy (X-IGRT), radiation safety has also attracted people’s
attention. This paper describes the radiation protection standards of kV X-IGRT equipment used in radiotherapy, analyzes several
main factors that need to be considered for radiation protection of X-IGRT equipment, and discusses specific application measures
for different imaging type. In this paper, the evaluation standards of radiation protection for X-IGRT equipment are sort out, and the
requirements for radiation protection of X-IGRT equipment are analyzed, aims to reach a consensus when evaluating the radiation
safety of X-IGRT equipment.
