Abstract:Objective To compare the application effect of TiGRT IVS and XVI image guidance system in the positioning error
analysis of cervical cancer radiotherapy. Methods A total of 30 patients with cervical cancer treated in our hospital from August
2020 to October 2021 were selected. Before radiotherapy, TiGRT IVS system was used to obtain anterior-position and lateral electron
field image system images, and compared with the reference image generated by the positioning CT, the positioning errors in the
three directions [anterior-posterior (AP), superior-inferior (SI) and left-right (LR)] were obtained. At the same time, the XVI system
on Synergy accelerator was used to perform cone beam CT scanning to obtain alignment errors in three directions. Bland-Altman
diagram was used to compare the consistency of the positioning errors of the two systems, and the Wilcoxon test was used to compare
the time required for operation. Results A total of 150 groups of positioning verification images were obtained in the experiment.
The consistency intervals of the positioning errors of the two image guidance systems in the AP, SI and LR directions were (-0.29,
0.22) cm, (-0.26, 0.29) cm, and (-0.24, 0.27) cm, respectively. For the time consumption, TiGRT IVS group was significantly shorter
than that in XVI group (P<0.001). Conclusion TiGRT IVS image guided system has better consistency in the positioning error
comparison of cervical cancer radiotherapy with XVI image guided system, and has advantages in time and cost, while XVI is more
prominent in soft tissue development, volume imaging, and additional radiation dose.
