Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of single exposure imaging technique for position verification during radiotherapy.
Methods The frontal and lateral images were captured using single exposure method before every treatment and then they were used
to compared with the position verification images captured in the first treatment. If the error exceeded a certain value, it should be
corrected before treatment. Results 33 patients were treated for 906 times and the number of treatment needed to be corrected for
382 times, accounting for 42.2% of the total treatment times. Conclusion The single exposure technique has certain clinical value in
the whole course of radiotherapy position verification, and patients should choose a reasonable way to fix the position. To ensure the
quality of medical care, position verification should be done throughout the whole process of radiotherapy when necessary.
