Design and Application of Visual Monitoring System Based on Real-Time Traceability System
in Information Quality Management of Central Sterile Supply Department

Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of visual monitoring system based on information traceability system in
quality management of Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD). Methods The SAAS model structure was adopted to establish
a visual monitoring system based on the information traceability system of the CSSD. The data connection between the traceability
system and the monitoring system was established. The monitoring system was equipped with the monitoring of the risk points of
the disposal of articles and instruments, so as to realize the data analysis, backtracking and archiving of early warning and prompt.
The quality of medical devices, the quality of sterile items management and the quality defects of management work were compared
before and after the system application. Results After the application of the system, the disposal time of emergency devices and the
unqualified rate of medical devices in the whole process were lower than before the application of the system (P<0.05). The failure
rate of sterile package distribution and management was lower than before the system application (P<0.05). The defect rates of
workload statistics, accounting management, overdue warning and biological monitoring records in the observation group were lower
than before the system application (P<0.05). Conclusion The visual monitoring system based on information traceability can analyze
the potential risk work quality problems in real-time, expand the information warning function, and help to avoid the occurrence of
adverse events. It has certain significance for improving the quality of work, service quality and management ability of the CSSD,
and is worth promoting.
