Test of Quality Control and Quality Management of MSCT System

Abstract:Objective To carry out the quality control of multi-slice Spiral CT (MSCT) equipment, and the quality control method
of MSCT equipment was discussed in order to ensure the accuracy of various parameters and the good operation of CT equipment.
Methods Barracuda multi-functional X-ray parameter equipment, Catphan 500 CT performance test phantom, CT dose head model,
DCT10 CT long rod ionization chamber and CT equipment water model were used to detect the accuracy of diagnostic couch motion,
CTDIW, accuracy of positioning light, linearity of CT value, deviation of layer thickness, spatial resolution, low contrast resolution,
CT value, uniformity and noise of CT equipment, and the results were calculated. Results The deviation of diagnostic couch
motion was 0 mm, CTDIW was 45.9 mGy, the deviation of positioning light was 0.5 mm, the linearity of CT value was -31 HU, the
deviation of layer thickness was 0.409, the spatial resolution of standard algorithm and high-resolution algorithm were 7 and 11 LP/cm
respectively, low contrast resolution was 3 mm, CT value (water) was 2.1 HU, the uniformity was 1.4 HU, and the noise was 0.35%.
Conclusion Through regular quality testing of MSCT equipment, the working status of equipment can be mastered in real time to
ensure scientific, accurate parameters, safe and effective operation of equipment.
