Abstract:Objective To understand the basic performance of domestic and imported ultrasound equipment in clinical environments,
by conducting the quality testing and comparative evaluation of in use ultrasound diagnostic equipment. Methods A total of 65
ultrasound diagnostic equipments in use were sampled from different hospitals. And according to national and industrial standards,
the performance evaluation of multiple parameters was conducted using abdominal probes, superficial probes, and cardiac probes,
respectively. The results were compared and analyzed. Results There was no significant difference in basic performance parameters
between domestic and imported ultrasound equipment brands when using abdominal and superficial probes. When using cardiac probe
imaging, imported equipment was superior to domestic equipment in terms of resolution, geometric accuracy, and error measurement.
Imported brand equipment was slightly superior to domestic brand equipment in abdominal and superficial imaging for the same
age group of tested equipment. Conclusion There was no significant difference in the basic performance parameters between
domestic ultrasound equipment and imported ultrasound equipment in sampling measurement in most indicators, but in cardiac
imaging the imported equipment brands were superior than domestic equipment brands.
