Construction of Obstetrics System Based on Personal Digital Assistant and Its Application in
Patients with Hypertension in Pregnancy

Abstract:Objective To construct an obstetrics system based on personal digital assistant (PDA) and analyze its application effect
in patients with hypertension in pregnancy. Methods The mobile terminal program of the PDA obstetrics system adopted C#
language, took MySQL as the database, and was developed under the environment of NET.COMPACT FRAMEWOTK 3.5. The
system adopted WebService technology, took WinCE 5.0 as the terminal operating system, built and deployed internet information
services on the server. A total of 120 patients with hypertensive diseases during pregnancy were selected in our hospital. The control
group (n=60) was given routine intervention, and the observation group (n=60) was given PDA obstetrics system on the basis of the
control group. The intervention effect of the two groups of patients was compared. Results Compared with the control group, the
systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in the observation group were lowerafter intervention, and the difference was
statistically significant (P<0.05); the incidence of adverse events during hospitalization intervention in the observation group was
relatively lower, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the observation group had higher satisfaction of medical
staff, shorter recording time and higher score of obstetric management quality, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05); the
scores of basic medical care, medical safety, ward management, medical culture and doctor-patient relationship in the observation
group were higher, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the observation group had higher scores in terms of
daily feedback, single business learning, monthly plan, monthly vacation, weekly shift scheduling and grade examination, and the
difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion By constructing the obstetrics system based on PDA and applying it
to pregnancy hypertension patients can effectively control the level of patients with blood pressure, reduce the incidence of adverse
reactions during hospitalization intervention, make maternal and infant outcomes better. The level of obstetric management and work
efficiency are significantly improved, easy to be accepted by obstetric care.
