Abstract:As a novel therapeutic tool, nanosecond pulsed electric field (nsPEF) has shown promising applications in melanoma
treatment. This paper reviews the research progress of nsPEF in the treatment of melanoma in cell experiments, animal experiments
and human experiments, and points out that nanosecond pulsed electric field can induce melanoma ablation through various
mechanisms and produce long-term anti-tumor memory to inhibit its recurrence and metastasis, while having highly targeted effect
without additional thermal damage. These unique advantages have broad clinical application prospects for melanoma treatment and
provide new ideas for clinical treatment of melanoma.
