Abstract:Cutaneous malignant tumors include basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and malignant melanoma. The
treatment of cutaneous malignant tumors mainly includes radical surgery and systemic therapy. However, the damage to surrounding
healthy tissue caused by surgery and the side effects of systemic treatment affect the prognosis of patients to a certain extent.
Nanosecond pulsed electric field (nsPEF) is a new electrical pulse ablation technology with the advantages of being minimally
invasive, non-thermal energy, non-drug, and almost no scar. Previous studies have demonstrated that nsPEF can effectively induce
tumor cell apoptosis and trigger a strong immune response. However, little is known about the theory of nsPEF in China. This paper
aims to summarize the application of nsPEF in cutaneous malignant tumors at home and abroad and to provide a reference for the
clinical application of nsPEF.
