Abstract:Objective To realize standardized management of our hospital medical equipment by building a medical equipment
quality control management system based on grid management. Methods Through the introduction of the grid management model,
the measures such as improving the organizational structure, defining the scope of responsibilities, implementing three-level quality
control, strengthening department cooperation, and developing the intelligent Internet of Things hospital management system
were adopted to build a four-dimensional quality control management system for medical equipment which was “vertical to the
end, horizontal to the edge, vertical to the surface, and overall surrounded”. Results The number of equipment patrol inspection,
preventive maintenance, and independent inspection increased significantly compared with that before implementation, and the
incidence of equipment failures decreased significantly (χ2=5.127, P=0.024). Conclusion The medical equipment quality control
management system constructed in this study can make the management of medical equipment in our hospital more standardized,
provide a more powerful guarantee for medical quality and patient safety, and also provide reference for other hospitals.
