Abstract:Objective To study the relationship between X-ray edge burr sign, edge lobed sign and the level of biological factors and
molecular typing of breast cancer patients. Methods A total of 233 breast cancer patients admitted to our hospital from April 2018
to September 2021 were selected. All patients underwent resection and confirmed by postoperative pathological biopsy. The levels
of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), human epidermal growth factor-2 (Her-2), Ki-67 and p53 were measured by
immunohistochemical method, and the X-ray burr and lobulation signs of breast cancer were analyzed, and the correlation between the
marginal signs of mammography and molecular typing and biological factors was analyzed. Results Among 233 cases of breast cancer
patients, 51 cases were Luminal A type, 114 cases were Luminal B type, 39 cases were HER-2 overexpression type and 29 cases were
triple-negative type. The difference of marginal burr signs of different molecular types was statistically significant (χ2=67.032, P<0.001).
The expression rate of burrs was higher in the Luminal A type and Luminal B type of breast cancer. There were significant differences
among different molecular types (χ2=14.849, P=0.002), and the expression rate of lobular signs was higher in Luminal B type and triplenegative
type. The marginal burr signs were correlated with the positive expression rates of ER and PR. The marginal lobulation signs
were correlated with the positive expression rates of ER and HER-2. There was a significant relationship between the marginal burr
signs of breast cancer and the distribution trend of ER and PR positive line expression from weak to strong. There was a significant
relationship between the marginal lobulation of breast cancer and the weak to strong distribution trend of ER positive expression.
Conclusion The mammogram marginal burr signs were directly related to Luminal A and Luminal B molecular typing, while the nonburr
signs mostly appeared in triple-negative breast cancer. Lobular signs can be used to judge Luminal B type and tviple-negative type,
and the burr and lobular signs are related to the positive expression of biological factors, the clinical X-ray mammography can be used to
predict the expression of biological factors in breast cancer to some extent.
