Abstract:Objective To design and implement a control, state monitoring and diagnosis system of proportional valve for ventilator.
Methods The state parameters of the proportional valve were extracted by testing the operation curves of the proportional valve
at different temperatures. According to the test results, the integral controller was used to accurately control the flow through the
proportional valve, and the work state of the proportional valve was diagnosed based on the experimental data of the proportional
valve at the extreme temperature. Results The flow control error of the proportional valve was better than 1%. Each time the control
signal of the digital-to-analog converters named DA was an integral multiple of 50, the work state of the proportional valve was
collected. The state data collected were analyzed and diagnosed every 10 s. When the diagnosis result was abnormal, the staff could
be reminded in time. Conclusion The control, state monitoring and diagnosis system of the proportional valve for ventilator designed
in this study can realize the accurate control of flow and the real-time diagnosis of the work state of proportional valve, which can
effectively ensure the accuracy and reliability of the operation of the proportional valve.
