Abstract:Objective To compare the application value of segmented-turbo-FLASH-PSIR and single shot true-FISP-PSIR in the
evaluation of myocardial fibrotic scar in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). Methods A total of 100 patients with DCM
who underwent late gadolinium enhancement-cardiac magnetic resonance (LGE-CMR) examination in our hospital from April
2017 to October 2020 were collected as the research object. According to different scanning methods, DCM patients were divided
into segmented-turbo-FLASH-PSIR group (48 cases) and single shot true-FISP-PSIR group (52 cases). The subjective score and
signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the two delayed sequences were compared, and the detection rate of myocardial scar tissue and the
image acquisition time of the two scanning techniques were analyzed. Results The subjective score of image quality in the single
shot true-FISP-PSIR group was higher than that in the segmented-turbo-FLASH-PSIR group (P<0.05). The SNR of the segmentedturbo-
FLASH-PSIR group was higher than that of the single shot true-FISH-PSIR group (P<0.05). The segmented-turbo-FLASHPSIR
group (26.84%) had more unjudgeable segments than the single-shot true-FISH -PSIR group (6.11%) (P<0.05). The
segmented-turbo-FLASH-PSIR group had significantly longer acquisition time of single slice and the acquisition time of the whole
process of left ventricle than the single shot true-FISP-PSIR group (P<0.05). Conclusion Single shot true-FISP-PSIR has higher the
image quality and delayed enhancement detection rate in evaluating the myocardial fibrotic scars in DCM patients than segmentedturbo-
FLASH-PSIR, and with shorter scanning time, it is worthy of clinical application.
