Abstract:This article analyzed the working principle of the high tension charge and discharge circuit of the Elekta Precise linear
accelerator, and introduced the faults that the high tension circuit breaker of the input stage circuit of the charging part was tripped,
the filter capacitor of the output stage circuit of the charging part was damaged, and the thyristor anode wiring of the discharging part
was damaged. Through theoretical analysis and actual measurement of the fault phenomenon, the fault location was quickly located,
and the fault treatment methods of replacing the NTC thermistor, cable, capacitor C3 and re-welding the thyratron induction coil were
taken to eliminate the fault. This article can provide a reference for the maintenance of linear accelerators, and effectively ensure the
availability and good operating conditions of the equipment.
