Abstract:Pulmonary nodules are one of the most common lung diseases, and pulmonary nodules can be imaging manifestations of
benign lesions, lung cancer or metastatic tumors. Early detection and early diagnosis of pulmonary nodules has significant clinical
significance. At present, clinical screening and detection of pulmonary nodules are facing many problems in practice, and the
popularization effect needs to be improved. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has been rapidly developed and applied in the field
of medical image, which can assist doctors in pulmonary nodules detection, and improve the detection rate, accuracy of early lung
cancer screening and detection, as well as the work efficiency of clinicians. This paper reviewed the clinical application effect and
research progress of approved AI products, from the aspects of the basic definition of pulmonary nodules, the clinical application,
accuracy and influencing factors of AI-assisted detection of pulmonary nodules.
