Abstract:Objective With the development of modern medical science, there are a great variety of medical equipments. Meanwhile,
equipment failure caused by irregular operation occurs frequently, which may cause equipment damage, and even endanger the
safety of operators and patients. It is of great significance to reduce the occurrence of such faults though quality management tools.
Methods Based on the PDCA cycle management method, this paper analyzed the factors leading to medical equipment fault caused
by irregular use, and explored the main reasons using tools such as fishbone diagram and Parato Chart. Results According to the
pareto diagram, the first three main factors were screened out, among which the management of the instruction manual and the
instruction manual had serious defects. Then the instruction manual and the real-time query on the mobile phone were optimized by
realizing the information management system. Conclusion In this paper, for the first time, the manual management system was used
to provide the clinical department with accessible guidance on the operation of medical equipment, which improved the working
efficiency of medical staff, reduced the incidence of adverse events caused by non-standard operation, and thus improved the quality
of medical equipment management.
