Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of quality control circle in improving the clock accuracy of life support
medical equipment in ICUs. Methods A quality control circle group and select the theme of improving the clock accuracy of life
support medical equipment in ICUs was set up firstly. Then, the clock accuracy of emergency life support medical equipment in
ICUs of our hospital was investigated. In the following, the radio controlled clock that could automatically receive radio signals and
automatic correction time was selected and procured in reference to the 2012 version of the general hospital level evaluation standard
for the emergency life support class medical equipment requirements. Finally, the radio controlled clock was acted as a standard clock
reference, the inaccurate reasons that intensive care unit emergency life support class medical device clock was analyzed, corrective
action was formulated and implemented accordingly. Results The clock accuracy of emergency life support medical equipment
in our hospital increased from 84.9% to 100% seven months after QCC activities. Conclusion Quality control circle ensures the
accuracy of emergency life support medical equipment clock and improves the quality management of hospital emergency life
support medical equipment. It’s an effective management method for quality control of emergency life support medical equipment.
