Abstract:In order to solve the problem of non-development of nitinol alloy wire under X-ray, the commonly used solution is to
increase the development nuclear such as platinum and tantalum in the nitinol wire to form a composite nitinol alloy wire. The higher
the proportion of developing cores, the better the development effect. However, the development of nuclear materials do not have
the superelasticity of nitinol alloy, formed with the nitinol alloy composite material has the certain difference compared with pure
nitinol alloy wire, eventually leading to loss of superelasticity of composite nickel titanium wire. In this paper, the constitutive model
of nitinol alloy in finite element analysis software was used to simulate the mechanical properties of nitinol alloy wire containing
platinum, the finite element analysis model of nitinol alloy with true reactivity was obtained by verifying with the experimental data.
In order to determine the residual strain of nitinol alloy in the process of conveying, the residual strain of nitinol alloy wire with a
diameter of 0.13 mm and a development area of 10%-90% was analyzed under uniaxial tension and bending. The results showed that
there was no direct relationship between the residual strain and the maximum strain in the case of a developing area less than 50%,
and the residual strain was only related to the developing area. When the developing area was more than 50%, the residual strain and
the maximum strain had a direct relationship.
