Abstract:Objective To develop a noninvasive and continuous heart rate monitoring product, so as to monitor patients with
cardiovascular diseases in their daily life. Methods Under the human thighs, the vascular pulsations were acquired to calculate the
heart rate value by the piezoelectric film sensor which was placed on an office chair. As a core of operation and control, STM32F411
was used to achieve low power programming. Then, transient protection devices and embedded software monitoring module were
designed to resist interference causing by the electrostatic discharge. Results In the three operation modes, the device has excellent
performance of energy consumption and the ESD immunity meets the YY 0505-2012 standard requirements. Conclusion This
monitor is easy to use, as well as safe, stable and energy-friendly. It provides a reliable and practical solution for cardiac monitoring
at home.
