Abstract:Objective To design an medical equipment procurement management information system considering existing problems,
to improve the quality and efficiency of procurement management. Methods By analyzing the functional requirements of the
information system, combined with the hospital procurement workflow, Oracle SQL and JavaScript were used as design languages,
the design was completed with the help of J2EE platform and enterprise WeChat API. Results The system could track and record the
whole process of procurement behavior. After the application of the system, the overall planning of the project was more convenient,
and the time-consuming of project overview analysis was reduced by 75%. The procurement implementation was more efficient,
and the time-consuming of form making and review in the procurement implementation was reduced by 69% and 20%, respectively.
Procurement services were smoother, and information synchronization satisfaction increased by 31%. Conclusion The system can
improve the management efficiency and execution timeliness in procurement management, procurement implementation and clinical
requirements, and further improve the level of hospital procurement management.
