Abstract:Objective To develop a magnet anchoring device suitable for endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). Methods Based
on the analysis of the functional requirements for mucosal traction during ESD, combined with the principle of magnetic anchoringtechnology and the basic principle of magnetic surgical medical device design, a design scheme was proposed that the anchoring
magnet adopted a cylindrical structure, and the target magnet adopted a permalloy shell with tail hanging structure. Results The
anchoring magnet and target magnet were successfully manufactured according to the design scheme. The tail-hanging structure
on the target magnet was conveniently connected with the micro soft tissue clamp. Through the operation of gastroscope, the target
magnet could be placed on the diseased mucosa very conveniently. The magnetic force between the anchoring magnet and the target
magnet completely met the need for mucosal traction during ESD. Conclusion The magnetic anchoring device is ingenious in design,
easy to process and operate, which can greatly improve the operation experience of ESD and has great clinical application value.
