Abstract:Objective To develop a medical device positioning and identification management system covering the whole life cycle
of medical equipment. Methods The qr code was used to write the unique identification number for medical equipment, and the
intelligent management database was established. The scanning code of mobile PDA was applied to realize the positioning and
counting of medical devices. Results The use of the system to the maximum extent solved the hospital fixed assets accounting, object
correspondence management and department assets inventory problems. Conclusion This system can improve the management
method of medical equipment under the traditional mode, strengthen the precision of management, and improve the management
efficiency.
