Abstract:Objective To investigate the ultrasonographic and MRI features of epithelial ovarian malignant tumors, and to compare
the diagnostic value of the two imaging methods. Methods The transvaginal two-dimensional ultrasound manifestations and color
Doppler energy maps of 80 patients with epithelial ovarian tumors confirmed by surgical pathology in our hospital were analyzed
retrospectively. The signs of MRI were summarized and analyzed, and the diagnostic value of ultrasound and MRI were compared
and analyzed. Results Two-dimensional ultrasound showed that benign lesions had regular shape and continuous capsule, with
cystic internal echo and few nipple and peritoneal effusion, color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI) showed poor blood supply. The
malignant lesions showed irregular shape and discontinuous capsule, internal echo solidity mainly, nipple and peritoneal effusions
were more common, and CDFI showed rich blood supply. MRI showed that benign lesions had regular shape, clear boundary,
mainly cystic, more homogeneous signal, less peritoneal effusion, no involvement of surrounding organs, no lymph node metastasis,
while malignant lesions had irregular shape, unclear boundary, mainly solid, uneven signal, all enhanced, multiple abdominal cavity
effusion, peripheral organs involved, lymph node metastasis. Conclusion MRI combined with transvaginal ultrasound and CDE
examination can effectively improve the diagnostic accuracy of epithelial ovarian malignant tumors. Moreover, when the epithelial
ovarian malignant tumor is not typical or the lesion is small, the combination of the two methods is better.
