Abstract:Existing ultrasound images have a large number of speckle noise and strong high-density white echo, resulting in poor
display quality. In order to effectively improve the display quality and definition of ultrasonic examination images, this paper
proposed an edge-enhanced ultrasound image quality improvement method under the visual attention mechanism. According to the
edge detection mechanism and pop-up effect, a weighted adaptive scale local edge localization algorithm was designed to suppress
the speckle noise while effectively positioning the boundary. The experimental results showed that the proposed algorithm had good
quality improvement performance and could achieve stable, fast and clear display for different angles and different scenes, and was
suitable for various low-cost ultrasound imaging equipment.
