Abstract:Objective To improve the access speed and storage capacity of PACS server. Methods We migrated the server to the
virtualization platform, and then used software multitask parallel processing, database separation, data compression and disk
expansion technology. Results The system’s access speed and storage capacity had been greatly improved. As well, the system could
also help to keep the stability and continuity of system well even in busy medical business. Conclusion The system’s operation
capacity was improved significantly by optimizing the performances of software and hardware about PACS server, and the doctor’s
need for clinical diagnosis and radiograph reading was well met.
