Abstract:Objective To assess the application of automatic selection of optimal phase function in coronary artery CTA imaging in
arrhythmia patients. Methods Thirty-two arrhythmia patients who underwent CTA were collected and the image data were obtained
by Autogating’s recommendation. According to the different phases of the reconstructed image, they were divided into two groups.
In group A, the images were reconstructed with artificial selection of optimal phase in the time interval. In group B, the images
were reconstructed with automatic selection of optimal phase in the time interval. The CT value and the noise SD of the aortic arch
root were measured and the signal-noise ratio (SNR) was calculated in each group. The subjective quality scores of the main blood
vessels were compared and analyzed. Results The image quality scores of right coronary artery (RCA), left main coronary artery
(LMCA), left circumflex coronary (LCX) artery and left anterior descending (LAD) artery in group A were 2.53±0.76, 3.75±0.57,
3.16±0.68 and 3.56±0.62, respectively, while those in group B were: 3.50±0.72, 4.03±0.18, 3.72±0.52 and 3.94±0.35. There
were significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion When the coronary heart disease patients with arrhythmia
are examined with CTA, the application of automatic selection of optimal phase for blood vessel image reconstruction can meet the
clinical diagnostic requirements.
