Design of Automatic Detection Module for Parameter Spatial
Resolution in MRI Quality Control

Abstract:Objective This paper introduces a design of automatic detection module for parameter spatial resolution in MRI quality
control. We hope to overcome several shortcomings of traditional manual detection methods, and to improve objectivity and accuracy
of the evaluation for MRI spatial resolution by quality control (QC) program. Methods Based on ACR phantom and the QC process
of spatial resolution, we used a series of image processing technology to design programs, including the extraction of ROI and the
target recognition, to have a detection for the spatial resolution. Results The design module had completed the automatic detection
of spatial resolution, which improved the accuracy and reduced the detection time greatly compared with the traditional detection.
Conclusion The detection module can realize intelligent and objective evaluation for spatial resolution, and it is of great significance
for the future scientific and orderly quality control program of magnetic resonance equipment.
