Application of Balance One Phase Gradient Echo and Senior 3D Fast Spin Echo Across the
Nerve and Adjacent Evaluation Analysis of Relationship Between the Blood Vessels

Abstract:Objective This article aimed to discuss the balance one phase gradient echo (B-FFE) and senior 3D fast spin echo (3D
FASE) across the nerve and the relationship between adjacent vascular evaluation. Methods A total of 92 patients with facial spasm
during April 2015 and September 2015 in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed in this study. According to random number
table method, patients were randomly divided into B-FFE group and 3D FASE group, with 46 patients in each group. The scanning
result of facial nerve and its adjacent blood vessels display were compared between the two groups. Results In the B-FFE group,
38 patients showed nerve compression, while in the 3D-FASE methods, there were 40 patients with nerve compression, there was
statistical significance in the diagnostic sensitivity (c2=7.236, P=0.011), diagnostic accuracy (c2=6.389, P=0.021), and negative
predictive value (c2=4.626, P=0.046). There was a statistically significant difference (P<0.05) in terms of nerve display scores,
vascular display scores, and adjacent vascular origin scores between two methods. In the surgically diagnosed patients, there was
significant differences (c2=7.236, P<0.05) in the diagnostic accuracy rates of the two diagnostic methods. Conclusion MRI-compared
with 3D B-FFE sequence, the FASE sequence can more clearly and accurately show the facial nerve or the relationship between
trigeminal nerve and adjacent vessel, with high diagnosis coincidence rate. So it is worth to be used widely in clinical diagnosis.
