Abstract:Objective This paper aimed to help learners to fully understand the two different kinds of nuclear magnetic resonance
(NMR) instruments used in the current magnetic resonance experiments. Methods The structure, the experimental projects and
the characteristics of these two instruments were comparatively analyzed in detail. Results The structure of NMR experimental
apparatus was relatively simple, and agnetic resonance signal was observed and measured with sweeping field. However, it had poor
scalability, so few experiments could be carried out with it. While HT-3DNMR-25 NMR image instrument had a complex structure,
with which not only the magnetic resonance signal could be observed and relaxation times T1 and T2 could be measured, but also 2D
or 3D imaging of the samples could be formed with the introduction of the gradient magnetic field. Conclusion Two different kinds
of NMR instruments should be used in combination. Medical magnetic resonance imaging is established while observing magnetic
resonance phenomenon.
