Abstract:The full name of cyberknife is X-ray stereotactic radiosurgery treatment system, which is
a new type of radiotherapy equipment for whole body tumor treatment. By combining “intelligent
interactive robot” with “image navigation technology”, it can collect and analyze the position data
of tumor and normal organ as well as data of corresponding movement. With the location of fourdimensional
imaging navigation technology, it can realize real-time tracking, precise-positioning and
high-level irradiation of cancer disease. Cyberknife has the characteristics of high fractional dose, few
fractional time and high biological dose, while it requires very high accuracy and stability of equipment.
Cyberknife tracking technology is the key factor to ensure its accuracy. This article reviewed the research
progress of domestic and overseas cyberknife tracking technologies including six-dimensional skull
tracking technology, X-sight spine tracking system, gold mark tracking system, etc.
