Abstract:Objective To evaluate the value of real-time three-dimensional echocardiography (RT-3DE) in quantitative evaluation of
coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Methods A total of 35 CABG patients (CABG group) from January 2017 to May 2018
were enrolled in this study. A total of 20 healthy volunteers were enrolled in the same period as the control group. Both groups were
examined by RT-3DE. All patients were followed up for 3 months after CABG. Ventricular structure and cardiac function were
evaluated quantitatively by RT-3DE before and after operation. Results RT-3DE examination showed that LVM in CABG group was
higher than that in the reference group, while LVRI, LVEF, gPFR and gPER were significantly lower (P<0.05). Two cases in CABG
group were lost to follow-up 3 months after operation. RT-3DE showed no significant changes in LVM, LVRI, LVEF, gPFR and
gPER at 1 week after surgery (P>0.05), while the above indexes were significantly improved at 1 month and 3 months after surgery (P<0.05).
Conclusion RT-3DE can be used as an effective quantitative evaluation method for CABG operation.
