Abstract：As one of the research hotspots in the medical field, infrared thermography (IRT) technology focused on the field of adult
diseases, but the application research in the field of pediatrics is scarce, lacking of large sample and systematic research. This paper
reviewed the application research of IRT technology in pediatrics, pediatrics of traditional Chinese medicine, psychology, and other
interdisciplinary fields at home and abroad. Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the application of IRT
technology in various fields of pediatrics and the summary of the remaining problems, this paper proposed solutions and pointed out
the direction for the further research of IRT technology in the field of childhood diseases.
