Abstract:Objective To design a dual-mode mobile DR exposure controller with wireless remote control exposure and automatic
time-delay exposure to replace the mobile DR hand brake function to protect the operator from ionizing radiation hazard caused
by X-rays. Methods The STC89C52 single-chip microcomputer was used as the main control chip, the wireless radio frequency
remote control module and the single-chip timer were used as the trigger mode, and the on-off relay was controlled by the singlechip
microcomputer to replace the hand brake exposure operation, and the camera system was used for real-time auxiliary
monitoring to realize the wireless remote visual exposure operation. Results Through testing, the success rate of the controller
response at different distances was ≥95%. After the controller was connected to the mobile DR, 300 cases of clinical use were
tracked in different modes, and the success rate was ≥98%. Conclusion The controller can realize the mobile DR remote wireless
exposure operation, so that the operator can effectively avoid the frontal short-distance exposure operation, and reduce harm of X-ray
ionizing radiation for the operator.
