Objective To design a non-contact apnea detection and remote monitoring device. Methods The hardware of the system
was composed of a biological radar sensor, a STM32 microcontroller and a LoRa remote wireless communication module. Using
biological radar sensors on the patient respiratory signal real-time non-contact collection, through the STM32 MCU A/D conversion
for digital signal, finally the LoRa module on human respiratory signal real-time remote wireless transmission, PC would receive the
respiration signal real-time processing and map for the visualization of respiration signal waveform. Results The long-distance realtime
detection and apnea judgment of human respiratory signal were realized. The effective detection distance was more than 2 m,
and the wireless transmission distance was more than 1 km. Conclusion The system can realize the remote real-time monitoring of
human respiratory signal and the preliminary judgment of apnea, which is convenient for the medical staff to monitor the patient’s
respiratory condition remotely and real-time. The device has small appearance design, low production cost, high real-time and
reliability, and has a good application scene.
