Abstract:Dual-energy CT has been proved to play a very important role in the diagnosis of urinary stone components, and it can
play a better and more accurate guiding role in the development of patients' treatment program. In this paper, the principle and
advantages of dual-energy CT were introduced, and then the relationship between ESWL lithotripsy effect and stone hardness and
stone composition was analyzed. By summarizing the latest research progress at home and abroad, the principle and research status
of dual-energy CT in predicting the components of urinary calculi were summarized, and the future research direction of dual-energy
CT imaging in urinary calculi was prospected.
